NBU and Vubiz add to its online course selection

The New Brunswick Union is pleased to continue to offer members, and their families, access to more than 250 online courses on a wide variety of topics ranging from leadership skills to handling hazardous materials to computer programs including Excel through Vubiz.
Providing members the opportunityto improve their skills is a key tenet of the NBU. Our Union Activist Training program continues to build a base of compassionate talented members at the workplace level. This online training program is not a formal part of our Activist Training certification, but is an excellent complement.
Be sure to take advantage of as many courses as possible, we're certain there's a course that will address both your needs and interests.
To date, more than 1,265 members have taken advantage of our partnership with Vubiz resulting in 5,410 hours of course time.
Some of the most popular courses for members include MS Office 2010 Word, Excel & Outlook, Back Safety, Basic Finance for Non-Financial Managers, Business Writing: Letters and e-mails, Communicating at Work, Communicating Cross Culturally, Conflict Management, Employee Time Management, Enhancing Your Speaking Skills, Fall Prevention and Fall Arrest Awareness, First Aid Basics, Managing Work and Family, Problem Solving: The 5 Steps, among others.
