Let’s help Renous win Kraft Hockeyville

Tom Donovan Arena Tom Donovan Arena

The arenas in small towns across New Brunswick are more than just a sheets of ice. They are the hubs of communities where people gather to enjoy our great game, spend time with one another and encourage everyone to lead healthy lifestyles through sport.
This year, Renous is one of the finalists for Kraft Hockeyville. Communities from across the country apply to the annual contest with the winner receiving $250,000 for arena upgrades as well as an NHL game to be played in the rink.
The Renous bid is in memory of Thomas Dunn, a young boy from the community who passed away in a car accident. The community is rallying together in the wake of this tragic accident and using the hashtag #neverdunn.
The New Brunswick Union is asking all of its members to vote for the Renous when voting officially begins on March 29, 2019. There’s also a video on the site which details the Renous bid.
