Mobility agreement ends for most NBU members

The mobility agreement between New Brunswick Union (NBU) and the provincial government has ended for the majority of members in Parts I, II and IV.
The agreement allowed some members to be shifted to other jobs in order to provide much needed help and support during this pandemic.
For some – including Conservation officers, Forest Rangers, Off-road Vehicle Enforcement Officers and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officers who have been sent to enforce the travel restrictions at our provincial borders – the agreement has been extended to July 10 as we negotiate a potential further extension.
“I want to thank all our members who took on new roles to help our province during this pandemic as well as those who are still currently doing so,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. “When you were called upon, you stepped up to help your colleagues and fellow New Brunswickers.”
