Labour Day is a time to reflect and relax

We have faced a difficult year and it’s not over.
A global pandemic and civil unrest throughout the world continue, while here in our province we’re faced with going to the polls for an election most New Brunswickers didn’t want.
However, this Labour Day I encourage you to spend the time thinking positively. Our province fared extremely well during the first wave of COVID-19 because of the sacrifices and hard work of people like you.
Many experts are predicting our economy is recovering better than other provinces. Again, this is because of the hard work of the people who make up our provincial labour force.
Workers are the economic engine of this province and this month we are presented with an opportunity to reflect this reality by voting for candidates who strongly support the everyday working people of our province.
This Labour Day take the time to be with your loved ones. We have gone through extremely stressful times with the potential for more ahead. You deserve an opportunity to sit back, relax and spend time with those who matter most to you.
Finally, I want you to remember:
We are strong.
We are united.
We are the members of the New Brunswick Union.
