Loch Lomond Villa reaches tentative agreement

Members of the Loch Lomond Villa bargaining team have reached a tentative deal with their employer.
The group, represented by the New Brunswick Union (NBU), came to agreement on Sunday, Sept. 27.
"Both sides worked hard to come to this point, now it's up to the membership to determine the next step,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle.
The last contract expired on Oct. 15, 2016.
The members work in a variety of roles at the Saint John-based nursing home including resident attendants, licensed practical nurses, environmental utility, cooks, activity coordinators, environmental attendants, laundry, dietary and maintenance.
The deal with be presented to the Loch Lomond Villa members, any questions will be answered and a ratification vote will be held.
