New Brunswick Union (NBU) President Susie Proulx-Daigle recently met with Health Minister Victor Boudreau to discuss potential ways to improve the province's healthcare system. In addition to discussing various ideas, Proulx-Daigle made it clear the NBU would not support any efforts that included job losses or privatization.  The discussions were productive and could lead to further meetings in the future.

The Fairness Express made a stop in Campbellton as part of its national tour. The purpose of the tour is to talk to people in communities across Canada about the effects of inequality in their community.
