Medical Science Professionals vote yes on new deal

The Medical Science Professionals bargaining group represented by the New Brunswick Union (NBU) voted to ratify a tentative collective agreement with the provincial government.
"I want to thank everyone who voted on the contract and took the time to review the proposal," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. "Both sides worked hard to reach this agreement."
The collective agreement comes into effect once it's officially signed. The contract is for five years and three months, beginning Jan. 1, 2014 and ending on March 31, 2019.
A total of eight groups represented by the NBU have either officially signed new contracts or ratified a new deal in the past few months.
