Loch Lomond Villa members vote in favour of new contract

A new collective agreement has been reached between members of the Loch Lomond Villa bargaining group represented by the New Brunswick Union (NBU) and the employer.
The bargaining team had previously reached a tentative deal on Nov. 20. The ratification vote - which resulted in the new deal being accepted - took place Dec. 17.
"I want to thank all of the members who took the time to study the agreement and vote," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. "We feel this is a fair and equitable deal for both sides."
Loch Lomond Villa members work to ensure seniors residing at their nursing home receive the best care possible in a safe and welcoming environment.
A total of 15 groups represented by the NBU have either officially signed new contracts, ratified a new deal or agreed to a tentative collective agreement in the past few months.
