New project connecting with members

Shelley Coulombe Shelley Coulombe

The New Brunswick Union (NBU) has begun a new campaign to have a one-on-one conversation with its more than 10,000 members.
The project recently began as NBU board member Shelley Coulombe started calling members in various components.
The purpose of the calls is to find out how members are doing after more than a year living and working under pandemic conditions as well as to hear members priorities and what the NBU should focus on going forward.
“Having a conversation with every member will take some time, but this is a top priority for our board of directors and will help shape the future of the NBU,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle.
Coulombe has begun making calls and said the feedback has been positive.
“I’ve had some wonderful conversations and members have been sharing some great ideas,” she said. “Each call brings a different perspective, so it has been very enlightening.”
Coulombe is leaving messages and a call back number for every member she has not been able to speak with directly.
