Villa Chaleur reach tentative agreement

The bargaining team for Villa Chaleur has reached a tentative agreement with their employer on a new collective bargaining agreement.
“We’re very pleased to have reached this point,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. “The bargaining team has worked hard on behalf of their colleagues to reach this point.
The next step in the process is to present the deal to members, answer any questions they have and then proceed to a ratification vote.
Villa Chaleur workers joined the New Brunswick Union in May of 2004.
Their Collective Agreement expired on October 15, 2016. Villa Chaleur members are proud to deliver quality care services for seniors residing at the nursing home.
