Resource Services reach tentative agreement

The Resource Services bargaining team reached a tentative agreement with the provincial government on a new collective agreement on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
The New Brunswick Union represents the members of Resources Services.
“While the ongoing pandemic has caused delays in getting to this point, I’m very pleased we’ve reached this stage,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. “The members of the bargaining team have shown great dedication and I want to thank all members for their patience.”
The Resource Services component professionals monitor harvesting operations on crown land and provide conservation enforcement of water, land and wildlife throughout the province. In addition to their regular duties, they played an integral role during the pandemic monitoring our provincial borders.
“The next step will be to present the tentative agreement to members, answer their questions and hold a ratification vote,” said Proulx-Daigle.
