Members vote to ratify contract

The Clerical and Regulatory component, represented by the New Brunswick Union (NBU), voted in favour of ratifying a new collective agreement with the provincial government on Thursday, April 7.
The group reached a tentative agreement with the employer on March 16.
“We’re pleased with the results of the vote,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. “I want to thank the bargaining team for their hard work and all the members who took the time to study the agreement and vote.”
The contract is for five years covering April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2024.
Members of the Clerical and Regulatory group work throughout the province in a variety of roles including administrative services, driver examiners, highway safety officers, sheriffs, payroll officers, customer service representatives and many more.
